So Last weekend I went to Yaoi Jamboree in Phoenix Arizona. Despite there being HORRIBLE organization (Hahaha, the general consensus being that it was EPIC PHAILAGE), I had a blast!!!! I met SO MANY cool people! The Axel/Roxas, Sephiroth/Cloud, and Naruto/Sasuke cosplayers were super nice and cool, and I'll be the first to admit I developed a healthy little crush on the Mellow cosplayer (Yum!)
It makes me a little sad, that I don't have someone to play with like all those girls (and matty, lol) have, someone halfway across the country you meet up with and play with in costume. It just seemed like they all had such fun bonding and leaning against one another, and I don't have anyone like that! Awwww. Lol. Plus, you know, not being a cosplayer kind of made me a groupie, instead of part of the group. That kind of sucked when I didn't get invited to do stuff. So Nora and I ended up kind of hanging around the hotel a lot, waiting for something fun to happen.

Still, it was tons of fun. The yaoi hangman panel was a blast, the sketch jam was fun (for me, hahaha), I got to chill with fun people at the PJ party and the EPIC PARTY IN ROOM 722, zomg. FUN.
It was way cool to see the The Slants in concert, and they were super nice and chill, it was a delight to be one of the 5 people dancing, hahaha.

It was way smaller than they predicted, and a lot of the panels and skits were fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants organized. But the people definitely made up for it with their awesomeness, and I just hope that my next anime convention will be better. EVEN if it can't be a yaoi one! <3
